It’s scary, but at the same time, it’s inspiring. It’s inspiring because it’s good to see the Opposition parties finally putting the pressure on our government. Again I am not taking sides or supporting one over the other, but over the last couple of months, I’ve seen the true colours of having a “balanced” political faction in the country. MPs are being checked, publicity stunts are being mastermined and executed, senior high-profile and once-looked up to ministers are getting scrutinized more than ever. It’s good, because it puts alot of pressure on the politicians, who once had everything and thought no one would come to know all their dirty little secrets.
Admist this chaotic political situation in our country, who’s the biggest loser? No no, not the de facto Opposition leader, rather it’s our own PM. The poor guy, obviously looking more and more hapless as the days go on buy will probably just need to do the right thing and step down. Enough is enough, his supposed successor’s reputation has also been severely tarnished and exposed in the most popular and unbiased media in the country (i.e – the wWw). How do you think people would react if the successor took over the helm?
The government’s boat has been rocking and rocking, and lately, given the ISA arrests, and the resignation of the Law Minister, and finally the De Facto‘s claim that He can form a government VERY VERY soon, is the boat finally going to capsize?
Time will surely tell. In the mean time I wouldn’t be surprise if the country goes into a state of emergency over the next couple of days…
