My dear cashew,
Since your mother wrote you a later a couple of days ago I thought it would only be fitting if I wrote a letter to you too as well.
We have been waiting for your arrival for a long time. From the day your mother told me she was pregnant, as the days have gone by we have been patiently for your arrival. I hope you are doing well being inside’s mummy. She sometimes tells me how you are stretching your tiny arms and legs. I do wish at times I could also get to experience all this, but I think this is definely a special reserved just for mothers and babies. You will understand this one day.
Pretty soon you will be entering into the world, our world. I am not sure whether it will be as comfortable as being in mummy’s belly, but it’s certainly one fascinating world. It’s such an amazing world for you to experience and get to know. One of the things you will immediately notice is how vibrant and colourful this world is. It is teeming with life, whether you are in the concrete jungle or in a real jungle.
I can’t wait to show you more about life. I have learnt so much of this world from just observing. You too will slowly learn this wonderful gift. Don’t let your curiosity hold you back or make you any less interested and excited about life. There’s so much you can ask me one day when you are able to talk. I just hope I have the same amount of energy and stamina to keep up with your inquisitive mind!
Okay I think you mom kinda just saw me writing this to you. So I will stop here. Will definitely write more of these letters to you. I just need to find the discipline, time and motivation to do this! Sometimes I get tired after a long day’s work, but I hope to keep at this letter-writing so that one day you can look back and read all these things.
