Are you a life giver or a life drainer?

A

There are only 2 sorts of people in this world. One that gives life, the other one that drains life. Really, that’s it, only 2. People who tell you there are in between are probably life drainers, because you would know by how the person is, sometimes even better than the person himself.

The life-giver is always there to encourage, to root your own. The life giver is willing to challenge your thoughts, but at the same time make you feel empowered and energised. The life-giver chooses his words, not in a caustic manner, but in a sincere genuine manner. The life-giver is always willing to be there for you, but not in a condescending or patronising way, but in the truest sense. You can feel it.
The lifegiver finally works with you, and sometimes for you to ensure he gets the best out of you based on your gifts, talents and strengths. The life-giver is a master of understanding people and he learns to adapt to different people in different situations at different times to bring out the best out of those around him.
The life-drainer complains and whines about everything. Rant is acceptable as he justifies that behaviour under the pretext of “venting”. Thelife drainer helps to only help himself – he helps others, but he’s more concern about himself although it’s masked rather well. The life-drainer demands and says it’s expectation and requirements of you. The life-drainer deludes you and convinces you he is a life-giverbecause he needs to feel good about himself. The life drainer seeks to criticise as a way of life and uses criticism in the name of “improvement” and “becoming better”. The life drainer is never contended with things. He always demands more, wants more, expects more, and views everything with a critical eye – looking not to find the good attributes in people, but rather the
negative aspects.
So the question is, which one are you?
